COOL DR.JACOB MAKES IT EASY ON HIS CUSTOMERS!!! I am a customer
of Mr.Schneider since 1984 and have been following him from
"Hilly's Autorama" on 355 to "Jacob's Autorama" next to Rockville
Metro Station.
During the last 22 years I have changed, including my familly
4 Volvo's (from 1972 vintage to 1995), 3 Mercedes (from 1980
to 1998), one Saab, two Hondas, one Nissan, one Jeep and two
VW a total of 15 different cars, four of which had diesel
engine. And ....Mr.Schneider could fix them all...and let
me not forget my numerous friends that would call me, sometimes
desperate, asking where should I take my car it just stopped
and AAA will come to tow it! The answer was always - go to
"Jacob's Autorama" next to Rockville Metro.
During these 22 years I always thought that I always received
a VIP treatement, but then I found that everybody else gets
the same treatment!
Mr.Schneider is not only a car doctor, I mean PHD, but, he
has "heeling powers" on his customers that many times come
in distress...worked out, tired, in a rush...and the last
thing that they did not need is to have their car "sick".
Always with a smille on his face and always "cool" ...once
you drop the car you can rest assured that you should not
worry about that problem any more...doctor Jacob will fix
it!
The best part is Mr. Schneider's honesty and personal integrity.
He would never compromise on that even if it means for him
loosing money since he would not go for an "belt and suspenders"
fix but find a safe way of providing the best option on the
budget. Oh, yes if you are wondering why did the shop change
location from 355 to Rocville Metro, yes you guessed right:

I met Jacob on a late summers evening about 3 years ago.
As I was leaving my job for the evening driving down N. Stonestreet
Ave. in Rockville Md., I happened to see someone closing a
garage door at Jacob's Autorama auto repair shop. There was
a problem with the front of my car and I did not want to take
it to the dealership for repair like I had been doing in the
past. As of late, I found the dealership to be less attentive
to my car's needs and their customer service was getting lousy.
It was closing time for the shop but I thought I would stop
anyway to see if this person would answer a couple of questions
about my car. It turned out that the man closing the shop
was Jacob himself. Not only did Jacob take the time to listen
to me about the problem with my car, he actually drove my
car around the block to get a better understanding of what
I was taking about. He put my car on the lift and warned me
about some safety issues. Mind you, the shop was closed for
the day! From that first encounter with Jacob, I knew that
I had found the auto repair shop that I had been looking for.
When you deal with Jacob it is like doing business with a
favorite member of your family. He makes you feel that way.
I find Jacob to be a very fair, honest and honorable person
who leads by example. He's a very diligent worker and takes
the time to pay attention to the little things about your
car; like checking for nails in your tires or the proper air
pressure, windshield wiper fluid etc...
His knowledge of auto repair is exceptional and he has an
excellent and knowledgeable staff of employees. I feel very
fortunate to know and do business with Jacob.

the incredible service and your willingness to go the extra

the Lexus dealership to replace our engine instead of charging
us the going rate for a new one.

just complete the work and charge us like most other garages

It is so refreshing to be treated honestly and fairly when
